Wales Baltic Society

We have an active membership of around 50 people, and we meet approximately once a month, at different venues throughout South Wales for social occasions, and for business meetings in Cardiff mainly. We are always pleased to welcome new members. The Society also offers an opportunity for us to make new friends from overseas, particularly from the Baltic States, who may be visiting Wales for holidays or study purposes, and who wish to get in touch with other Latvians, Lithuanians or Estonians while they are here.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Society on 24th March 2013, the following officers were elected:

  • Chairman: Andris Taurins
  • Secretary: Ieva McDonald
  • PR and Assistant Secretary: Ann Taurins
  • Treasurer: Digna Liepa
  • Membership Secretary: Ruta Sova
  • Auditor: Gwyn Edwards
  • Additional committee member: Rita Price
